Since 2020, the Developmental Cognitive Science Lab at the Graduate School of Human Sciences, The University of Osaka, has been conducting a series of developmental research projects titled “Baby and Child Scientists” to better understand the minds of infants and young children.
We are currently seeking children aged 0 to 6 and their parents or guardians to participate as “scientists” in our studies. In these study sessions, we explore cognitive development by observing children as they watch short videos, engage in play-based tasks with a parent, or listen to stories followed by simple quizzes.
Please note:
At the moment, we are primarily recruiting child participants and caregivers whose first language is Japanese.

All personal information is securely managed by our lab and will never be used for any purpose other than research, nor shared without prior consent.
